We have started celebrating the holidays in full swing now that it is December!
As our topic is Our Religious World, we have been learning about the ways that people from different religions might celebrate this time. We have learned about Diwali, Eid, and Christmas so far.
In Numeracy, we have been learning all about arrays. We learned that we can begin to understand multiplication through looking at an array.
We also had such a fun time with Adventure Aberdeen. We learned how to safely start fires and toast marshmallows. While groups of us were doing that, the others were decorating tiles in the tepee. It was such a fun way to spend the 1st of December.
One more exciting event this week was the online event with the National Museums Scotland. We joined in the live Q&A event that taught us all about dinosaurs and used measurement to show us how large they would have been. We saw a T-Rex tooth that was larger than our head and found out that their whole jaw could have been up to five feet long!
Looking forward to more fun events during December! Keep an eye on the blog for more updates. Here are some pictures of our week down below.
