October Fun in P2/3

This week we have enjoyed diving back into learning for Term 2!

In Maths, we wrapped up our measurement topic from last term and now we are learning about patterns. We have had many chances this week to create all different kinds of patterns. We also practised 10 more and 10 less with a stone game in the playground.

In Writing, we continued on our story about Winnie the Witch and created our own story about what she does every year on Halloween night. We have also started using our writing table daily during play to write messages, cards, and lists.

In Reading, we have been answering comprehension questions in our reading groups as well as finding out more about Tomas in The Boy Who Grew Dragons. Tomas finally told his friends about Flicker! Things are about to get interesting!

In Health and Well-being, we have been finishing up our topic on Healthy for the month of October. This week we created our very own Eatwell Plate to show our favourite foods from each category so that we know how to eat balanced meals. We have also been learning different behaviours for our emotions with the Emotion Works plan. The boys and girls did an excellent job with Behaviour Charades this week.

Have a look at our gallery below and have a great weekend!
