It has been a busy week with lots happening as part of World Book Day, World Maths Day and Fairtrade Fortnight.
Throughout March pupils will update their Read For Good charts every time they feel they have engaged for 5 minutes with a text.
Pupils used catalogues to create a class problem solving budgeting challenge.
They listened to stories about fairgrounds and designed their own fairground rides and described them.
Timetables and maps were used to plan an imaginary trip to a local theme park.
Work on Fairtrade included learning about the journey of a banana and how much producers receive before and after Fairtrade measures are introduced. As part of this, pupils held a debate using persuasive language.
