We have been learning lots this week and much of what we have done has been linked to our topic about the wider world. Here is a round up of what we have been up to.
– As part of National Story Telling Week we had Andrew a geologist from BP in to read to us. We also got to share our favourite books/authors with him and our friends.
– We took our learning outside for Maths and continued working on our Division of a two/three digit number by a single digit. We understand that not all numbers divide equally and that we have remainders. We used game boards inside to continue to practise dividing with trickier numbers.
– In writing, we completed our debate piece on whether plastic is good or not for our environment. Some of us shared this with the class and we checked our work off against our Success Criteria to ensure we achieved our Learning Intention for the piece.
– We also started to complete mini adverts in Drama based on saving our environment. Our adverts had to have a clear message throughout to share the importance of the topic with our audience.
As you can see, it has been another productive week. The debate pieces are particularly impressive. I wonder what next week’s debate will be?
