We have had an amazing start to Term 3 here in P4A.
For writing, we have been learning to understand the structure and language used in information reports, and we have begun writing interesting reports about imaginary places. Our readers will be informed about the location, climate, animals and plants of our made up places.
For reading, we have been learning to ask questions before, during and after reading in order to develop our deeper thinking about what we read. We have been enjoying exploring non fiction texts, which is also helping with our writing.
For maths, Miss Zdanowicz is teaching us how to use a compass and give specific directions. We have created treasure maps and written instructions that help us find the ‘gold’!
We have also been learning about how to identify key features of our local environment by making maps of Dyce.
Check our our learning goals (pictured). We love knowing what our next steps are and aiming high to be the best we can be!
