P6A Update

Before Christmas P6A, along with the other two P6 classes, were extremely busy with their preparations for the Evening Express Christmas Concert which was held at The Music Hall.  Most of the children performed alongside many other schools from Aberdeen City and Aberdeenshire to provide a very exciting evening of festive entertainment.  The children did themselves and the school proud with a hugely enthusiastic and enjoyable performance on the night.  Well done to all of them for their determination and effort!

Now that we are into the new term I must say that the children have all returned with very positive attitudes towards their learning.  They have started off the term with Scottish country dancing with Mrs Flett and have thrown themselves into this (literally!!!).  So far they have learned the Gay Gordons, Canadian Barn Dance and Dashing White Sergeant.  They will be working with the P4 classes to teach them the dances and will hopefully perform them at their upcoming assembly in March.
