A busy start to Term 2 for P4A

Term 2 is here, and we are well into the swing of things in P4A!

For writing we created WANTED posters that linked to our novel ‘Fantastic Mr Fox’. We used our descriptive writing skills to describe Mr Fox’s appearance and characteristics, and what exactly he was wanted for!

To continue our link with our class novel we collaboratively created a piece of art. We used black and white paint to shade our base colours, and instead of paint brushes we used bubble wrap to blend our colours together and give our art some texture! We then used leaves to create little fox faces! We think they are quite cute!!

For Maths we have been learning about how to subtract using place value partitioning, and to celebrate Outdoor Classroom Day we took our learning outside to write our equations on the concrete with chalk. It was great fun, even if it was a tad chilly!
