Dyce Rotary Club – Christmas Shoebox Appeal 2019

P6A are leading the collection of items for Dyce Rotary Club’s Christmas Shoebox Appeal this year where they will be collecting items donated by children and their families and packing them into shoeboxes to donate to children and their families in Eastern Europe who are not as fortunate as we are.  The filled boxes are being collected by Dyce Rotary Club on Monday 11th November so if you would like to send in items to add to the boxes please see below suggestions of items that can be included:

This is given to new mothers and can include baby wipes, baby shampoo, baby oil, talcum powder, bonnet, bootees, mitts, baby grow, baby blanket, small soft toy or plastic rattle.

There are some things which cannot be included in the shoeboxes, such as food, sweets, chocolate, drinks, battery operated toys, conflict related items, matches, flammable liquids, flammable aerosols such as deodorant and hair spray, seeds or any other living material or automatic washing machine powder.

Please send in any items with your child and the children from P6A will visit the classes to collect any items donated or you can hand them into the school office if this is easier.  Last year the school managed to successfully fill around 60 shoeboxes.  We appreciate your help so that we can hopefully fill the same this year if not more.

Many thanks.
