Just wanted to update you on our learning this week!
A couple of weeks ago we planted vegetables and herbs to learn how food gets to our plates. This week we are drafting up the instructions for this process in writing. Below is a comparison picture of our plants the first day and then now.
In Maths this week, we are exploring both 2D and 3D shape. We have been following challenges to make towers with certain size instructions. For example, we had to make a tower that is bigger than our hand, but smaller than our leg. With 2D shape, we have been learning to describe the shape by telling how many corners and sides they have. We played shape freeze tag outside and you could only unfreeze someone with your same shape. We had loads of fun!
Come back next week to hear about more fun in Primary 2!
