We have certainly been busy over the past few weeks in P4A, here are some of the highlights from all the things we have had going on!
We took advantage of the lovely weather and created our own outdoor Maths shape games using the resources we have available. The children were extremely creative and all produced interesting games for other classes to try.
When the weather has not been so good, we have made the most of indoor break times by building some impressive towers!
We had a hugely successful Family Friday as part of our enterprise topic. Thank you to everyone who came along and supported us – we hope you enjoyed the taster session!
We have been exploring debates and we recently got involved in a class discussion over whether a Sugar Tax on products is something we agree or disagree with.
A film crew came to visit P4A and we were lucky to be able to explore the on camera and off camera jobs involved in this. We also got to try out some of the equipment!
Lastly, we are rounding off our work on Money in Maths this term. We are exploring lots of practical situations involving rounding up money to pay for items and also situations where we give change.
We will keep you updated on everything going on over the next few weeks!
