Last week was extremely busy for both P5 classes, in terms of practising for their musical performance at The Beach Ballroom in early June and starting their Enterprise project for this term.
The P5s from all three classes have been working together to perfect their harmonies for the upcoming music festival. They are singing “The Chattanooga Choo Choo” with each class singing different parts which they have grasped quickly. I am sure they will be more than ready for their performance on the day!
P5A and P5B also started their Enterprise project, supported by Virgin Money, called “Making £5 Grow”. The children have been learning about what enterprise is, what skills an entrepreneur must have to be successful and looking at the types of factors that are important for entrepreneurs to consider, such as marketing, their target consumers, etc. So far the children have organised their own groups and started to think about what product they want to make and sell to make their initial £5 investment grow. It will be interesting to see what products the groups come up with. I am sure you will want to support the children when their products go on sale! More news will follow about this soon.
