P4/5 have been studying the different causes responsible for the sinking of the Titanic and what changes could have been made to prevent it from being such a big maritime disaster. The class were challenged to build their very own ‘unsinkable’ ships using recycled materials. Each group had to think about which materials would be suitable in water, if their designs would float and a name for their ship.
We made a voyage up to the nursery where our ships set sail to see if they would pass the test. Most of our ships had a very successful maiden voyage. Well done P4/5!
